I’m sure if I think on it enough I would discover a few regrets I’ve made in my life thus far! However, when it comes to my health (which is a priority), I have no regret in the following:
Sleeping! I’m like “heaven” when I have had sufficient amount of sleep. I’m not talking about 6 hours. I’m talking 8-9-even 10 hours. I’m not joking. I’m a women with hormones that require 8-10 hours of sleep. It’s a mood booster! I have no regrets about that!
Exercise! This is obvious. I enjoy exercising and I never regret going for a walk, cross training, and getting my heart rate up. We all know the benefits of exercise. More importantly it can prevent future health issues such as heart disease, depression, and obesity.
Healthy eating! Less sugar and more greens. Sure I love chocolate chip cookies and ice cream, but not everyday. The key for me is ” all in moderation” and more of the good stuff than the bad (sugar). I don’t regret that! My day of “sweetness’ will arrive again. Besides, limiting my sugar intake increases my energy. No regrets.
Meditating! Basically MY TIME TO CHILL. This has helped me put things into perspective, keep me grounded and allow me to focus. I need this! No regrets about it.
Healthy friendships/relationships! Bottom line, I don’t regret discarding what’s polluting my emotional well being. Enough said.
