Are you a goal setter? If so, do you jot them down?
Ahhhh yes, this is a problem. Most people, including myself, tend to not write there goals down on paper. This is huge because when you write something down on paper you are simply intending on it to happen. From there you instill in your mind a call to action. Plus, who doesn’t like “checking things off the list?”
Another note to pay attention to is when setting goals, be very specific. Don’t just say something like, “My goal is to open a bakery.” Your goal must be much more specific such as; ” I will start baking from my home and introduce my baked goods to friends and neighbors to get a feel for what will work and what wont.”
Taking action is most obvious to achieving your goals. Don’t think to much, just do! If you have a good plan written down, your specific and realistic then make it happen!
When you progress towards meaningful goals you are on your way to a happier healthier you. Psychologists today are in agreement on the effects goal setting has on people today. Why not think on a few reasonable goals and work toward that dream you had since a young child? Be inspired, motivated and believe in you. Prioritize you.
“Goals are the fuel in the furnace of achievement.” Brian Tracy
“Purpose is what gives life meaning.” C.H. Parkhurst
“Our plans miscarry because they have no aim. When a man does not know what harbor he is making for, no wind is the right wind.” Seneca
” A goal is a dream with a deadline.” Napoleon Hill
Live, love, honor and laugh out loud! Prioritize you.
